Townsville Gem & Mineral Show 2025

The Townsville Gem & Mineral Show is being held again over the weekend of the 19th and 20th of July.

Location: Townsville Sports Precinct - 24 Burke Street, North Ward

Saturday 19th - 9am to 4pm and Sunday 20th - 9am to 2pm The Gem Show provides families and individuals of all ages and abilities with a opportunity to enjoy the event as a day out, participating in the activities provided, being able to take your time to look through the stalls, as well as being able to sit and enjoy the food and beverages under a large covered area with tables and seating provided.

The ‘Gem Show’ will be held over two days attracting local residents and visitors from around the region and nationally. This event is open to the public. Food, drinks, snacks, coffee and over 70 vendor stalls. Vendors, local and interstate will be onsite selling all things related to gems, minerals and jewellery.

Come and ‘shuck a freshwater oyster’ to find a pearl, pan for gold at the gold panning stall, find some polished stones in the ‘sand pit’ (kids love this), try ‘flat lapping’ to polish a stone, faceting and lapidary demonstrations, silversmithing workshops and member displays. Pick-up a jewellery bargain or get your lapidary / jewellery making supplies.
