Townsville Gem and Mineral Show 2025 location is at the Townsville Sports Precinct, 24 Burke Street, North Ward, Townsville QLD.

The Gem Show provides families and individuals of all ages and abilities with a opportunity to enjoy the event as a day out, participating in the activities provided, being able to take your time to look through the stalls, as well as being able to sit and enjoy the food and beverages under a large covered area with tables and seating provided.

The ‘Gem Show’ will be held over two days attracting local residents and visitors from around the region and nationally.

Activities will include:

'Sandpit Fossicking' – for the kids and young at heart;
'Gold Panning' – learn to pan for gold, every bag is guaranteed to have gold in it;
‘Pearl Shucking’ – freshwater pearl guaranteed with every oyster;
'Sapphire Fossicking' – purchase a bag of Sapphire dirt and wash it on site, learn how to pick out a rough sapphire;
Faceting demonstration;
Raffles;
Member displays - showcasing work created by Gem Club members.

Vendors, local and interstate will be onsite selling all things related to gems, minerals and jewellery making.

Find your favourite polished stones and crystals; beads, opals, precious and semi-precious gemstones; even jewellery making and lapidary tools.

For the serious Rockhound you can even purchase your own machinery.

SITE REGISTRATION - Standard Site (3.5m x 3.5m)

Site Registration for the Townsville Gem & Mineral Show 2025 is now open!

This year we have 70 sites available to vendors, site bookings will be on a first-in basis.

Cost is $100 for the 2 days - Saturday & Sunday

See below steps to apply for a site online. Please ensure all relevant paperwork has been supplied and payment has been made to secure your site.

Please ensure all details on the form are correct and click submit. Your application form will be assessed for approval.
Once your application has been approved you will be invoiced based on details supplied on your application form.

Please ensure you indicate on your form how you would like to receive your invoice through one of the following methods: ⇒Email ⇒Post ⇒Pick up at Club
A copy of your Certificate of Currency for Public Liability must be provided with your application.

If you currently do not have current insurance but will be renewing prior to the event, please indicate on your application that you will be providing a copy of your Certificate of Currency prior to the event. Vendors without a current Certificate of Currency will not be allowed on site until one can be produced.

SITE REGISTRATION - Pop-up Site

We have 6 Pop-up Sites available at the Gem Show this year

6 sites are available for vendors along a walkway under shade cloth areas. This is the pathway to the toilets, and we recognise there will be limited traffic than in the main event area, therefore site fees have been reduced.

Cost is $50 for 2 days - Saturday and Sunday. Each site will be supplied 2 x trestle tables. Site size is 6m x 1.5m (tables against fence, you will not be allowed to sit behind tables). Items for sale DO NOT have to be lapidary related. NO food or drinks to be sold (Candy accepted). Public Liability Insurance required.

Only 6 sites available. Sites will be allocated 1 to 6 as applications forms are received and confirmed.
